CURA Velvet is an elegant weighted blanket featuring two sides of premium cotton velvet and CURA’s signature herringbone quilt. The fabric's smooth feel and subtle sheen make this quilted blanket a soothing therapeutic companion and chic interior accessory in one. CURA Velvet feels gentle on the skin, providing a comfortable, peaceful break from your day whenever you need it or can be used as a decorative throw blanket, when not in use. Available in size 140x200 cm with a uniform 6 kg weight, CURA Velvet comes in elegant earthy tones, including Mocca (dark brown) and Light Sand (beige).

A weighted blanket can be used on the sofa before bedtime, helping you to relax and unwind. It can also be used together with a regular duvet on the bed, or for a relaxing pressure over specific body parts like shoulders or knees.

The blanket can be washed in a machine at 30°C or dry-cleaned.

You can also clean the blanket by freezing it, for example by hanging it up outside at sub-zero temperatures. This eliminates mites.

Don't tumble dry, bleach, or iron.

If you suffer from severe decreased heart or lung capacity, decreased muscular function, or heightened risk of pressure sores, you should take medical advice before using a weighted blanket.

We do not recommend weighted blankets for children under the age of 3 since the child must be able to remove the blanket without assistance.

The weighted blanket should only be used for the intended purpose.
