In a customer survey with 450 participants, 90% indicated that they experienced better sleep when they used a CURA weighted duvet, and 92% experienced increased relaxation. CURA of Sweden recommends that you choose a duvet equivalent to 10–15% of your body weight. For example, if you weigh 70 kg, you should choose a duvet that weighs 7 –9 kg. This is, however, just a recommendation. The question of what weight to choose varies from individual to individual. If you suffer from serious sleep problems and/or anxiety, it might be a good idea to choose a heavier duvet.

A CURA weighted duvet can be used in your bed when you sleep, exactly like a normal duvet. It can also be used during the daytime to relieve stress, worry, or anxiety. The duvet can also be used as a cosy blanket when snuggling up on the sofa before bedtime.

The duvet can be washed in a machine at 60 degrees. You can also clean the duvet by freezing it, either in the freezer or by hanging them up outside when the temperature is below freezing. This eliminates all mites.

TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is an international standard that indicates the insulating capacity of a textile material. For duvets, the TOG value ranges from 1-15. A lower value indicates a cooler duvet while a higher value indicates a warmer duvet.

Which level of warmth that is right for you depends on various factors, such as your bedroom temperature or your personal preferences.
