CURA Polyester Microfiber Weighted Duvet

The CURA Polyester Microfiber Weighted Duvet brings the calming feel of a weighted product to your everyday bed. Lighter on the wallet than our Pearl Classic line, it delivers the same gentle, even pressure — paired with a soft microfiber surface designed to slip seamlessly inside any standard duvet cover.

The outer fabric is a smooth 100% polyester microfiber — soft against the skin and hard-wearing through repeated washes. Inside, glass beads are paired with polyester fibre to balance weight and breathability, so you stay covered without the heat build-up of denser, all-fibre weighted products.

Weight settles softly across the body without harsh contact points. The quilted compartments hold the beads in even distribution, while the microfiber surface gives a clean, modern look that disappears beneath your favourite duvet cover.

Weighted products use a principle known as deep pressure stimulation (DPS) — gentle, evenly distributed weight across the body. DPS is associated with a shift in the autonomic nervous system from a stress-dominant state to a rest-dominant state, which can slow the heart rate, ease muscle tension, and make falling asleep feel less effortful.

CURA of Sweden recommends a weighted product equivalent to 10–15% of your body weight. The Polyester Microfiber Weighted Duvet comes in 5 kg, 7 kg, and 9 kg, well-suited for adults from approximately 35 to 90 kg. A weighted duvet is not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

Slip the weighted duvet inside any standard cotton, linen, or satin duvet cover in the matching size — 135×200 cm or 150×210 cm. Use it year-round indoors; pair with a thinner cover in summer and a heavier cover in winter to fine-tune the temperature.

The plain microfiber surface is finished in a clean white that disappears beneath your duvet cover. No styling decisions to make — just the calm of weight, every night, under whatever bedding you already love.

Filling: glass beads and polyester fibre. Outer fabric: 100% polyester microfiber. Machine wash 30°C. Tumble dry low. Shake and air regularly. Do not beat or vacuum.
