Our weighted blankets

Many of our customers have long requested a blanket version of our popular weighted duvet, designed for the living room.  And when you think about it, it seems a reasonable request. Why wouldn't you want the same relaxing effect as a weighted duvet – just earlier in the evening, when you are lying on the sofa? 

Our weighted duvets have the same therapeutic effects and certifications as our weighted duvets. These effects come from the weight, which creates an embracing and safe feeling, and which ensures that you can quickly unwind, sleep better, and wake up with more energy.

Use and adjustment

The weighted blanket can be used on the sofa before bedtime, helping you to relax and unwind before bed. It can also be used together with a regular duvet on the bed, or for a relaxing pressure over specific body parts like shoulders or knees.

If it is your first time with the weighted blanket, we recommend that you adjust to the extra weight by using the blanket in shorter intervals in the beginning. As your body gets used to the weight, you can gradually increase the time. However, we recommend that you start with a minimum of ten minutes to give the body enough time to respond to the weighted blanket's effects. The time for adjustment is individual and can vary from one night to a couple of weeks.

CURA® Minky

CURA Minky creates the same therapeutic effects as a weighted duvet: increased relaxation and reduced stress, anxiety, and worry. Minky comes in three colours (grey, blue and red) and weighs 6 kg. The blanket is filled with our natural glass pearls, and has an outer material made of wonderfully soft mink.

CURA® Elegance

CURA Elegance is our most exclusive weighted blanket. The surface is wonderfully soft and silky and made from high-quality artificial fur. The coat has a beautiful shine, does not shed and lasts very well over time. The back of the blanket matches the top layer and is made from velvet fabric and offers the same high quality, durability and softness.
